A recurring spring routine

On April 7, 2009, Mike Boag and a crew of twelve cleared debris, worked on lawn edges, reseeded grass and mulched the beds. The Trustees’ report two days later preserved photographs of the crew moving material through the Park.

The April 13, 2010 update followed another cleanup, this time by a crew of fourteen. Pruning, fresh mulch and lawn care were accompanied by replacement boxwoods and new planting around the tool shed.

In April 2014, the Trustees described a spring cleanup led by Mike Boag and his crew. The work included pruning ornamental trees and shrubs, removing dead or damaged growth, edging planting beds and clearing debris along the fence.

The report also described replacing some boxwoods and plans to aerate and reseed the lawn. These were separate tasks within the larger cycle of tending the landscape.
