Following the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, Brotherhood Synagogue hosted a memorial remembrance. The Gramercy Park Block Association invited the neighborhood to stand with the congregation, according to its November 23, 2018 newsletter.
The Block Association also helped arrange a police presence through the 13th Precinct for the remembrance and services that weekend. The account records both the public gesture of solidarity and the practical coordination behind it.
