A traffic light stood in the center of the Park’s truck-entry gate at Gramercy Park South and Irving Place. Its position created a risk that work trucks would strike the surrounding fence.
In March 2015, the Gramercy Park Block Association reported that the light had been moved. The Block Association credited Board Member Kathleen Scupp’s persistent work in bringing about the relocation.
