Gramercy through neighbors’ photographs

A January 2017 newsletter brought together photographs submitted by neighbors for the archives. Christine Gallagher’s image accompanied the account; the contributor list reflected views gathered from across the neighborhood.

The February collection included a snow photograph credited to Andrew Yee. In January 2018, the Gramercy Park Block Association invited pictures from apartment windows on all four sides of the Park, as well as views from inside and outside the fence. That call featured a photograph by Michael Gerbino.

2015

A growing collection of spring views

The earlier newsletters featured spring photographs by Lois Conner, Sean Brady and Alex Nguyen. Their slideshows gave the archive a sustained visual record before the later calls for residents’ window views.

A September 2014 seasonal roundup credited photographs by Lois Conner, Sean Brady, Alex Nguyen, Kristin Gish, John Petersen, Ira Fox, Si Kinsella and Patricia Pillette across different collections. The albums recorded the neighborhood through successive springs, summers, autumns and winters.
