In August 2013, the Gramercy Park Block Association reported its sponsorship of the 13th Precinct’s National Night Out Against Crime. The event brought residents and public-service organizations together in a setting designed for conversation and participation.

The Block Association’s August 2, 2026 letter invited neighbors to the 13th Precinct’s National Night Out on August 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the MS 104 playground on Second Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets. The poster announced entertainment, music, refreshments and safety information.
