The Gramercy Park Block Association welcomed the new signs in April 2014. Smaller lettering and the addition of “Gramercy Park Historic District” gave a practical fixture a closer connection with its setting.

The previous summer, the Block Association had described its Neighborhood Preservation, Environmental and Greening Program.

Today’s Clean Streets work and historic-preservation advocacy keep the Block Association involved in these surroundings, from caring for street fixtures to speaking up for the historic buildings around the Park.
