In April 2014, the Gramercy Park Block Association circulated proposed renderings for a tower at 41 East 22nd Street and appealed for support to protect the neighborhood’s light, air and residential character. The letter showed why the Block Association watched development beyond the streets immediately enclosing the Park.
A March 2015 newsletter relayed the Historic Districts Council’s concerns about the proposed Zoning for Quality and Affordability changes. The Block Association invited attention to a planned City Hall gathering involving neighborhood organizations.
