In January 2017, a newsletter described how street-tree roots had shifted the bluestone sidewalks around the Park. The Trustees’ project involved leveling displaced stones and replacing cracked ones.
A January 24 report described further leveling near the west gate. The work was expected to take several weeks, depending on the weather.
