Thank you to the Gramercy Park Block Association Clean Team and Park staff for clearing the neighborhood after the recent snowstorm.
They began with the first snowfall and worked through the storm to keep paths and sidewalks passable.
The Impact of Their Work
The scale of the cleanup effort over the last few days has been immense:

Continuous Perimeter Clearing: The Clean Team maintained a grueling rotating schedule to keep the sidewalks surrounding the Park's perimeter salted and shoveled.

Pedestrian Safety: A major priority was placed on clearing curb cuts and crosswalks, ensuring that neighbors—especially those with limited mobility—could navigate the corners safely.

Ongoing Ice Prevention: As temperatures continue to fluctuate, the team remains on-site monitoring for "black ice" and re-treating surfaces to prevent slips and falls.
