What the work involves
The project team notified the Gramercy Park Block Association that crews would connect the new building to the City water main to establish its permanent water service. The September 16 notice reported a City-issued street-closure permit for September 19–20 and 26–27, 2026.
Planning around the closures
If you are arranging deliveries, a car service or a pickup during those hours, allow for the block to be closed to traffic. Let building staff and visitors know ahead of time.
The follow-up on construction hours
In the same letter, the Block Association reported that the project team had confirmed holding Department of Buildings After Hours Variances for weeknight and weekend work on certain dates. The team also committed to advance notice, or notice as soon as possible, when after-hours work would close a street or was likely to disrupt neighbors.
