Dear Neighbors,
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
As we transition into the New Year and you have been taking down your decorations, several buildings have been in touch with us about best practices for disposing of their Christmas trees. We want to help keep our sidewalks clear and our neighborhood welcoming.
Where to place your tree: Please bring your trees to the North East corner of Gramercy Park at 21st Street. You can place them directly on the sidewalk outside the park fence (please make sure that all lights and ornaments are removed) —just look for the stack of trees already gathering there (see attached photo).
Our Team in Action: The Gramercy Park Block Association’s Clean Streets Team is working hand-in-hand with the Park’s caretaking crew to ensure these trees are disposed of properly and efficiently.
