Informational purpose
This website provides information about the Block Association, Gramercy history, neighborhood conditions and community activities. Content is offered for general informational purposes and is not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice.
Accuracy and current conditions
The Block Association works to keep information useful and accurate, but neighborhood conditions, schedules, agency guidance, outside links and historical interpretations can change. The Block Association does not guarantee that every item is complete, current or error-free. Time-sensitive notices should be confirmed with the responsible agency or organization.
Park governance and access
The Block Association is separate from the Trustees of Gramercy Park. The Trustees govern and care for the Park itself, including access. Nothing on this website grants or represents a right of entry to the Park.
Archive material
Historical letters, photographs, scans and accounts may reflect the language, information and circumstances of the time in which they were created. Captions and contextual notes are provided where useful, but archival material should be understood as part of the historical record.
Copyright and permitted use
Unless otherwise credited, website text and presentation are owned by or used with permission of the Block Association.
