Helping Neighbors in Need
The Gramercy Park Block Association organizes charitable initiatives through their Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) program so that the Gramercy Park community can work together to give back to less fortunate neighbors. 

GPBA helps the following neighbors:

Homebound neighbors support for ill, injured, frail elderly, disabled

Kenmore Hall clothing, furniture, food pantry drives for formerly homeless, veterans, chronically ill, people living with HIV/AIDS, disabled, frail elderly

Nazareth Housing clothing, furniture, educational supply donations for emergency shelters for women and children in Harlem, the Bronx, and the Lower East Side

Parish of Calvary-St. George's Thanksgiving dinner, soup kitchen, programs for those in need

Brotherhood Synagogue's clothing drive for children born into poverty

NYTB's Project LIFT scholarships, mentoring, books, school supplies for children living in city shelters

NY Cares Coat Drive with 13th Precinct, benefitting social service agencies, churches, schools, and shelters

Children's Book Drive for Foundling Hospital children, Beth Israel Pediatric Ward

Holiday Toy Drive benefitting local agencies with children in need

Epiphany Church "Adopt a Family for Christmas" for Harlem agencies: shelter for women and children, supportive housing for formerly homeless, family violence prevention, and family health services

Narragansett Agency clothing and supply donations for individuals with HIV/AIDS

P. S. 40 support for art, music, planting, culinary programs

Donations to local nonprofits office equipment, furniture, supplies

Scholarship for local student in need
