Repaving the Streets

As result of ongoing
complaints from our neighbors about the hazardous conditions of the streets
surrounding Gramercy Park (i.e. dangerous potholes), we have been in
regular contact with our friends at the Department of Transportation.
For the past several
days, DOT's Roadways crew have been in the process
of repaving 20th and 21st Streets from Park Ave South to Third
Ave.
We have requested that they also repave
Gramercy Park East and West. The Roadways crew has now agreed that
Gramercy Park East and West should be paved. They were willing to do
it now, but there were some conflicts regarding construction. They
assured us that they will return at a later date to complete this work.
