Gramercy Park Block Association - Neighborhood News #408 NYC Department of Transportation - Summer Streets   Voice Tunnel is an interactive light and sound installation by Mexican-Canadian artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, will transform the 1,400 foot long Park Avenue Tunnel with 360 theatrical spotlights that produce glimmering arches of light along the tunnel's walls and ceiling. On three consecutive Saturdays, August 3, 10, and 17 from 7:00am to 1:00pm, nearly seven miles of NYC's streets will be opened for people to play, walk, bike and enjoy.  Summer Streets extends from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, along Park Avenue and connecting streets.  Fore more information about street closures and traffic impacts, click here for NYC DOT's Community Outreach Flyer.   All activities at Summer Streets are free of charge, and designed for people of all ages and ability levels.
