Trustees welcome Brotherhood Synagogue members in the Park on Yom Kippur, Saturday 10/4
Yom Kippur is the highest holy day of the Jewish year. As a longstanding tradition and courtesy to Brotherhood Synagogue members, the Trustees welcome them into the Park between their morning and evening services.
On Saturday 10/4 from 12-5pm, former Park caretaker Basil Clarke will stand at the Park's east gate to ensure only those with a Synagogue ticket will be admitted.
Traffic Light at Gramercy Park South Gate being moved
Thanks to the efforts of GPBA Board Member Kathleen Scupp, the traffic light at Gramercy Park South and Irving Place is in the process of being moved from its position at the center of the truck entry gate of the Park.
Work trucks will no longer be at risk of hitting the fence when entering the Park. This project will take several weeks to complete.
