Preparing Gramercy Park for winter 

Park Caretaker Amando Flores preparing Park for winter.
  • Removing begonias from 41 tree gardens 
     
  • Planting 30,000 bulbs: tulips, daffodils, alliums, bluebells, crocuses, grape hyacinths, etc
     
  • Gathering 75 bags of leaves daily
          
  • Winterizing plants - applying fertilizer, mulch
     
  • Shutting irrigation system to keep pipes from freezing

Boag family has provided tree for over 40 years.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors: 

Kenmore Hall Thanksgiving  - 23rd St. sup portive housing for low-income, formerly homeless,  veterans,  people with HIV/AIDS,  chronically ill, disabled, frail elderly, homebound .

GPBA played a major role in the  takeover and rehabilitation of the Kenmore Hotel in the 1990s and continues to support the Kenmore year-round.
